Best place to live in London. In the heart of London, very convenient and accessable to public transportaion.Very clean building and apartments have very nice finishings, with reasonable prices.Cooperative and good manager.

Love this apartment! The location is right beside Harris Park and within walking distance to some of my favourite restaurants and the market. The amenities in the building are some of the best I've seen in the city!

Horrible management - Rating is a ZERO.I needed accommodations immediately for work purposes in downtown London. This was described as a luxury building. It is very dated compared to the buildings in which I previous lived, but if it was clean and had functional appliances, I would live with cheaper finishes and a choppy layout. I have given them 7 months to rectify this and even advised I would be posting pictures and all my concerns online. They told me I could move out if I wanted to.When I moved in, there were the following deficiencies:1. dishwasher - was filled with brown sledge water - odour was unbearable. This was replaced about a month later. See attached picture.2. pipes - under the sink wreaked because of the dishwasher and lack of use. The pipes were replaced about 1.5 months later.3. balcony door- could not be opened or closed without significant force because it was dented4. washrooms - were filthy - one tub had hair in it. There was a leak in the shower head. I was told it was fixed. I noticed all the janitor did was to turn it around so that it leaked downward. They finally did replace it with a new shower head. I know that was done because they simply left the old one in the bathroom. See attached picture of tub.5. fridge - did not work - was replaced three times in 7 months - is now not working (freezer is, but not the fridge), at the landlord refuses to replace it. I had milk that was 15 days away from expiring and turned into butter. Salsa is now filled with 25% water. Cheese that expires in March 2019 started to fade and taste awful, yet somehow an inspection found nothing was wrong with the fridge.6. washer - does not wash anything cleanly and has damaged clothes. I was told by Gordon Thorne that because it turns on and makes a sound, it is working.7. dryer - was full of lint because it had not been cleaned. It was fire hazard. The door opened up into a wall because it was improperly installed. This was eventually remedied, but the fact the building does not undertake to clean the top vent which is very difficult for anyone to reach, is negligent.8. toilet - one toilet has a build up of sediment. It is unusable, but even when it is extensively cleaned, the sediment returns9. internet - wiring damaged and no wifi available in one of the bedrooms. Cable company did a check and determined that the wiring had been nicked likely during the dry walling- building management refused to undertake to repair the wiring or look into the issue. The cable company had to hard wire a line.10. carpet and windows - a fresh coat of paint using a sprayer was applied after the carpets were steam cleaned. There was paint all over the perimeter of the carpet and on the windows.11. wardrobe - this was not installed properly, the lower rack fell on me causing injuries. I emailed to advise of the issue. This was fixed a month later when I threatened to post it on the internet. It reportedly was not fixed because I did not fill out a work order.12. notices - are never left in accordance with the landlord tenant act and have actually been left in my mailbox, which I understand to be illegal. Nicole McPhee, a paralegal, advised that it is not. The building also suspended mail delivery for two days to polish the lobby floors and forced residents to go to a Canada Post depot 5-6 km away when there is a Canada Post outlet 3 blocks away from the rental unit. The landlord advised that an appliance company called Terry's appliances has inspected the fridge and the washer and found no issues. I have requested that the landlord provide the report from Terry's and have never received it.Instead of trying to remedy these situations or offer compensation, I was told that I could just move on 30 days notice. I have never seen a landlord of a luxury building treat a tenant in this way. I pay far too much money in rent for this. I have not had one month in this property without an issue and I have only lived here for 7 months.

Been at the Harriston since 2019 in 2 different units and I couldn't ask for a nicer place to live! The building is super clean, the staff are always friendly, and the building management has regularly gone above and beyond to help. For example, my fridge started to die (just an age issue, expected) and they had a new fridge brought up within an hour so I didn't lose a thing. That prompt and helpful management has continued for any other problems I've had, one AC issue and a bathroom sink issue over 3 years and they've been fixed either that day or the next day, even when they had to call in a technician. Just fantastic management, they know everyone by name and always ask how I'm doing (and about my pets even!) and what they can do to help. I would (and have) recommended the Harriston to anyone. They're just polite, accommodating, and non-invasive, like I think they come into the apartments maybe 3 times a year for mandated fire safety checks, to change the furnace filter, and that's all I can think of. Great management and a great place to live, my apartment is spacious and beautiful and has great appliances. The ensuite washer/dryer is an amazing feature to have, and the whole building is very clean... I literally see a member of the cleaning staff whenever I go out at this point, they do a wonderful job.

We moved to The Harriston in 2019 and have been very happy with our decision to do so. We recently moved to another apartment in this building. We are grateful for the way management supported us through this move. Having the elevator on service for a few hours was so helpful. We didn't expect it, since we were only moving our stuff" up two floors. Having the big dolly cart was a tremendous boost. Getting the appliances out of this apartment in time for ours to be installed is most appreciated. The response we rec'd to an issue with our countertop was encouraging. We're thankful.Elaine and Murray Wilson"

miss the old management! We were without heat for too long and had to get a friend to help us. The solution seemed simple enough that management and especially the contracted furnace guy should have been able to know. However since they did not show up as promised I guess it means they just did not want to deal with it. We pay enough in rent to be treated better than this. No followup on how we are doing w/o heat possibly, being dismissed because it seems a lot of money is being spent to deal with all the problem, well I pay my rent monthly and I deserve good customer service in return. This was our dream home and now I'm not sure sure...lease is coming up might have to find a new home if this continues. -_-

I'm scheduled to move in for August so can't comment on the residence itself, but have been really pleased with the support from the TerraCorp leasing agent that's been assisting me through the application process (Jordan Harrett). All emails have been answered in a really timely and friendly manner. Really looking forward to move-in day.

I moved to The Harriston in 2021. My apartment has been a fantastic place to live! The building manager, Jeremy, has helped me with anything I've needed - he has went above and beyond whenever I have asked for help. I'm happy to live here, and Jeremy is an awesome communicator and liaison.
